Our 10-Year Commitment to Quality

Erie Custom Signs (“Company”) warrants to the original purchaser that its signage products will be free from defects in construction, materials, and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of shipment.

This limited warranty applies specifically to the manufacturing and assembly of the sign, including fabrication methods, component bonding, and construction integrity.

If, during the warranty period, a product is determined by Erie Custom Signs to have a defect in construction or workmanship under normal use and service, the Company will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective product, or
  • Replace the defective product with a new or functionally equivalent product.

Replacement products may vary slightly in color, material, or manufacturing method due to normal production changes over time.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects related to how the sign was manufactured, including:

  • Fabrication or assembly defects
  • Structural failure of bonded components due to manufacturing error
  • Construction defects affecting the physical integrity of the sign

This warranty applies only to manufacturing workmanship performed by Erie Custom Signs.


What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or conditions resulting from factors outside of manufacturing workmanship, including but not limited to:

  • Improper installation or mounting methods
  • Use of incorrect or incompatible mounting tape, adhesives, or hardware
  • Installation on unsuitable surfaces
  • Misuse, negligence, vandalism, or accidental damage
  • Modifications, alterations, or repairs performed by parties other than Erie Custom Signs
  • Environmental exposure such as sunlight, humidity, temperature changes, or chemical exposure
  • Normal wear and tear, including fading, discoloration, scratches, or surface deterioration
  • Improper cleaning methods or use of harsh chemicals
  • Non-sign components, including mounting hardware, electrical components, or third-party products used in conjunction with the signage


Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, the purchaser must:

  1. Notify Erie Custom Signs within thirty (30) days of discovering the issue.
  2. Provide proof of purchase, including the original invoice and purchase date.
  3. Submit clear photographs showing the alleged defect.
  4. Provide any additional details requested to assist with evaluation.
  5. If requested, return the defective product for inspection. Shipping instructions will be provided if a return is required.

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by Erie Custom Signs.
